The course introduces the concepts of satellite orbits in 4 lessons, C2a/C2b/C2c/C2d, which may also be purchased independently. The topics covered are as follows:

  1. Satellite orbit fundamentals
  2. The Geostationary orbit
  3. Non-geostationary constellations
  4. Launching of satellites

In all, there are over 80 slides with a power-point feel. A switchable audio commentary is available in a majority of them. There are numerous animations to illustrate the concepts. Windows Media player and Flash are essential to view the animations. Broadband Internet connectivity is necessary.
